Sunday Summary

I woke up a little after 0700 this morning, a little later than I normally do on Sunday morning's, but I was still really tired, but I knew that I needed to get up and get ready for church and Sunday School. So I pulled myself out of bed and shaved with my eyes closed and then took a sh0wer and woke up a little.

After drying off and making my way to the kitchen I made some coffee and toast. Once I finished that I went upstairs and woke Kathleen up and got dressed. I was still too tired to read the paper, and I just did not feel like doing the dishes either, so I just kind of sat around.

We made it to church about fifteen minutes late, but we did make it. After church and Sunday School I cleaned up the class room and then went over to help set up for the pot luck. Afterwards, I helped clean up the fellowship hall and put things away.

When we finally left, I could hardly stand up, I was really tired. Once home I changed clothes and went downstairs to read the paper, it took a long time, as I probably should have taken a nap, I would not have been as tired as I am now if I had.

About 1800 Kathleen made some beef and barley soup and I made some grilled cheese sandwiches. There is something about a warm cup of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich that tastes really good on a winter night. Well, it is late enough, and I am tired enough that I think that I will just say good night now.
