Third Day of the Artic Express

Another cold night, when I got up this morning the temperature on the outside thermometer was around twenty degrees and only got up to the low thirties this afternoon. I did go outside a couple times in my tee shirt and short and it felt a little warmer than yesterday mostly because the wind was not blowing as strongly.

For lunch I made some spicy tomato and pork soup and a couple pizza buns made from a potato bum and ketchup Italian seasoning and cheddar that I melted in the toaster oven. The tomato soup I just added a piece of pork left over from the other night and some Tabasco sauce.

This afternoon I did a little more wood working but again only for a half hour or so. The only good thing is that the basement is warmer than the rest of the house so working down there is not unpleasant temperature wise.

Tomorrow if the snow and colder weather holds off a while I think I might try going downstairs and get the rest of the pile that Kathleen left down there and either recycle it or throw it away. I would have done it today but the garbage and recycling came really late today and I had already started the wood working project.

Tami called this afternoon to let us know that Becca's program tonight had been canceled due to the weather and that probably Alexis's on Thursday as well. I had been on the phone with the Social Security office when she called so I called her back when I finished.

I had been waiting for fifteen minutes and had just answered the phone a few minutes before because Kathleen had a call coming in and I did not want to start all over again.

When Kathleen came downstairs this morning she had about three layers on and I was sitting here in my shorts and tee shirt and she was still cold just looking at me. I was a little cool but not uncomfortable.

Well, I think I have run out of things to say today so I will just go ahead and post this.
