Some Sunshine on Saturday

The creamed chipped beef and toast was even better than last nights because the toast had gotten soggy. It tasted almost like a breakfast dish that someone we know makes with eggs, toast, sausages or bacon and creamed sauce. I really liked it.

This morning after reading the paper and the mail, I went into my office and tried to find the files from this years taxes that I had started before my computer hard drive started acting up. I finally found most of it, and only had to re-input a little bit of what I had done before.

Now I just need to review it and e-file. I did not feel like doing it today as I am not sure that I am alert enough to really do a good job of it.

Well, that pretty much took care of my afternoon. I did go outside for a while and dug in the dirt, but it was still pretty wet. For lunch I reheated the chicken, rice asparagus and carrots from the other night.

I loaded up the dishwasher and turned it on, it was not quite full, but full enough that it needed to be run. It has finished, but I do not have the energy to unload it tonight. It will give me something to do tomorrow morning.

For dinner tonight Kathleen was at a loss for what to fix, so I suggested corn beef hash and tater tots. Not what I would consider a very nutritious meal, but bland enough as to not bother my intestines.

Well, again, not a very productive day, but I did get the taxes pretty much finished. I guess it is time to say good night.

That is how Max was, she did not have any children and she was a great hostess.

I think that next to salmon, I could probably have hash, either corn beef or roast beef, just about every day.

Why are you working so many days in a row? I remember doing that and it is not any fun!

Give your children a hug from me and I hope you have a good time visiting with Tim.

Did Mom go to the brunch with you, I hope she did, she needs to get out more often, if nothing more than to just move around.

I have been feeling better lately, all though last night I think I was up just about every twenty minutes or so.

It did not go on all night, but it sure seemed like it for a while. I think somewhere around 0500 or so I finally fell asleep until about 0800, when I got up.

Thanks for writing back, it is nice to hear back from my blogs, otherwise it just feels like a monolog.

Give Mom my love,

Bob
