Thursday - kind of a blasé day

I got up about 0700 again this morning, Kathleen had gotten up as well, but she must have gone back to bed after I went downstairs. I made myself some waffles this morning, I just felt like that kind of morning.

After I ate, I unloaded the dishwasher; I did not get around to doing that last night. Once the dishwasher was empty, I loaded up what was in the sink and counter and then cleaned the sink and counter.

While I was reading the paper Kathleen got a phone call, and when I when upstairs to let her know, I discovered that she was back in bed mostly asleep. So I went back downstairs and swept and mopped the kitchen floor, and then vacuumed the rest of the downstairs.

Kathleen came downstairs about 1115 and took a bath. She was still not doing too well, so I suggested that she go back upstairs and go to bed, which she did. While she was sleeping, I scrubbed the tub.

Next I pinched the barbs off about four dozen flies, it makes catch and release less messy for the fish. It was getting past time for my lunch so I heated up a jar of chili. Kathleen got up again about 1430 and had something to eat.

Andrea came over for a while to pick up some things that she left here yesterday. She did not stay too long today. Kathleen made some macaroni and cheese for dinner tonight. I think that is all for tonight so I will say my good night now.

Poor Bob was so tired he fell asleep on his chair while the ‘home-made’ macaroni and cheese baked and then cooled. I finally woke him so he could eat and go to bed – which is pretty much what he did.

I guess I had moaned and snored all night long. Then I woke up crying for some reason. Not a good way to start the day.

Hot baths make me feel so good. It is the only thing that can relax my arm and ease the pain. However, today’s bath was too hot and drained any remaining energy I had so I needed help. I'm afraid that I will slip and fall This business of knowing that I still need help is discouraging. I wish I felt as good in the morning as I do in the evening. It would make for a much more pleasant day.

Tomorrow we have to get up early because we have to pick Becca and Alexis up from Grandma & Papa B’s by 7:30 and take them to Alyssa’s. Aaron and Tami went fishing up north, over the border. It is quite a production to go some place alone when you have kids.
